Our event will be
held Saturday, May 15, 2004 At Bear Trace at Chickasaw This will be a four man scramble, $400.00 per team, with an 8:00 am shotgun start. Included in your fee will be a catered dinner, dance, Calcutta, and a silent auction along with your golf fee at the actual tournament. Entry fee must be turned in with entry form by April 1st. Mail fees to "PUTTING FOR PRIDE" P.O. Box 71, Pinson, TN 38366. Full sponsorship of a hole will be $100.00, half $50.00 and a quarter for $25.00. | PICTURES The Bear Trace at Chickasaw, designed by Jack Nicklaus opened in the spring of 2000. From the handcrafted log clubhouse, golfers enjoy a picturesque view of gently rolling fairways framed by ancient oak trees and massive pines. Flowing water form the Piney Creek and serveral small tributaries meanders throughout the course, traversing 7 of the 9 finishing holes. Several holes feature split fairways with landing areas adjacent to a stream, natural marshland or both hazards. Long-ball hitters playing the Bear Trace at Chickasaw will need to be judicious in club selection, thereby avoiding ever-present and daunting fairway bunkers. With multiple tees, this heavily wooded, 18-hole, 7,118-yard, par 72 layout provides a scenic and challenging rounf of golf for players of every skil level. |
