THE BOSS IS COMING --- “Yes, our new Boss Hoss Advantage Trike will be displayed at JCIL's ADA Celebration. We want riders to know that it’s not their disabilities, but their abilities that count,” says Rad Hunsley, president and chief operating officer of Boss Hoss. “We have riders with a variety of disabilities that love our trikes. We are now offering those who do not have use of their legs the freedom to ride.” (More)  New Wheelchair Friendly Boss Hoss Boss Hoss Cycles will be exhibiting the Boss Hoss Advantage Trike, a wheelchair-accessible trike specially tailored for wheelchair users, at JCIL's July 26 ADA Celebration. "As the industry’s first production model for the disabled rider, the trike has been designed with a wheelchair lift built into the chassis and hidden by the fiberglass truck-style trike body. All the trike’s controls are hand-operable to accommodate individuals that do not have, or have use of, their legs." The cool thing about this is not just the trike itself. The Advantage is the first American production model trike for wheelchair users. There have been a number of homemades and one-offs but they are rare.
