PICTURES HEREThe Jackson Center for Independent Living (JCIL) is having their 5th Annual JCIL/VA Fishing Rodeo on June 6th 2009 starting at 8:00 AM and ending at Noon with the awards and trophy presentation. The event is open to anyone with a disability, family and friends of someone with a disability as well as any Veteran with or without a disability.
The event is free of charge and all needed equipment, food and drinks, as well as bait will be provided.
The JCIL Fishing Rodeo is held at Oneal Lake in the Hatchie River Wildlife Area just south of Brownsville. From Interstate 40, Exit 56, go south on Hwy 76 approximately 2.5 miles. Oneal Lake is on the left side. It's a beautiful lake and accessible to people with disabilities. Also, volunteers are welcomed. For more info, call JCIL at 731 668-2211.
