JCIL saluted all veterans on the JCILNOW radio program and interviewed a veteran with disabilities, a Green Berets Special Forces veteran who was featured in Jackson Sun.
Dedicating the JCILNOW program to U.S. Veterans was part of JCIL's way of saying THANK YOU to the men and women who serve our country. JCIL also provided home repairs and modifications on Veterans Day for a veteran in McNairy County.
Glen Barr, the director of the center, said the staff wanted to celebrate Veterans Day by honoring Scott Cannedy for his service to country and community. "We are also proud we have a veteran on our team, Phil Merrell," Barr added.
