WHO is JCIL?
Of course JCIL is made up of staff, board of directors, volunteers, contributors and other service providers. But the most important part of JCIL is the CONSUMER, anyone with a significant disability or condition that limits one or more of life's major functions or activities, or who is regarded as having such a disability. The importance of the consumer is not limited to the fact that the center provides services to the consumer. The consumer is encouraged to participate in all aspects of the CIL. This is known as consumer control.
