It is a blues song from the perspective of those (especially the disabled) who might be subject to involuntary euthanasia for illegitimate reasons. Smith often broadly attacks end-of-life mechanisms. He is correct to imply that such mechanisms can be (and are) sometimes illicitly employed. This video is a Disability Rights perspective on legalized euthanasia and physician assisted suicide.
